<p>Rashmika previously said in an interview with Grazia that switching to Hindi cinema was “never on the cards,” but she still felt compelled to repay the Hindi film fans for the “immense love” they had shown her. “2020 was difficult for all of us, and I recall having to spend those two years at home feeling lost and miserable. The decision to go to Hindi cinema wasn’t always planned; in fact, the fact that I am an actor still surprises me (laughs), but it did so because of the tremendous support I was getting from the Hindi business. I wanted to return the favor by doing a Hindi-language movie. I’m disciplined and diligent because I feel like it’s my duty to produce outstanding movies and be a part of movies that support the people I care about.</p>
