Sumeet Tappoo sings in praise of Ayodhya Ram Mandir

T-Series has released Ram Ji Ki Nagariya, a new Ram bhajan by Bollywood singer Sumeet Tappoo, timed to coincide with the auspicious festival of Ram Navami. The devotional offering carries deep personal significance for Tappoo, who had cherished the desire to dedicate a song in honour of Bhagwan Ram ever since the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Composed by Mayuresh Pai and written by Shekhar Astitwa, the bhajan is built on a strong musical and lyrical foundation. The arrangements, crafted by Rajesh Prasad, give the composition its ceremonial warmth and devotional depth. Instrumentation across the track includes rhythm, guitar, mandolin, keyboard, flute, shehnai and violin, alongside a chorus ensemble that lends the song a communal, prayerful quality. Tappoo’s vocals were recorded by Parth Dubey, with recording and mixing handled at LM Studio, Mumbai, and mastering completed by Gethin John at Mastering World, UK.

Expressing his gratitude, Tappoo said, “My sincere thanks to T-Series and Sonu Srivastava Ji for giving me the honour to record and present this offering on the sacred occasion of Ram Navami. The auspicious festival reminds us of the eternal values and divine teachings of Bhagwan Ram, his righteousness, compassion, humility and unwavering commitment to dharma.”

The release reflects a broader commitment to devotional music that has shaped Tappoo’s recent work under the T-Series banner, following his symphonic Hanuman Chalisa, the Hanuman bhajan Hey Anjani Ke Lala and the Shiv bhajan Bhole Baba alongside Kavita Krishnamurti.

A Bollywood singer known for his soulful melody-driven approach and emotional sincerity, Tappoo has built a career spanning film-style songs, spiritual compositions and international concerts. He is also associated with humanitarian causes, particularly in support of free healthcare initiatives in India and the South Pacific.

With Ram Ji Ki Nagariya, T-Series presents a devotional offering rooted in sincere bhakti, strong musicianship and a voice that brings warmth and reverence to one of India’s most beloved Ram Navami celebrations.
